Our fun activity for the evening was making these cool luminaries with theBarney's and Breinholt family. They turned out so cool! Cameron B. is very excited about this project !
You take these long straws, join them with masking tape to make an "X" then put holes in the straws,then put candles in the holes. The last part is to put a cleaners bag over the whole thing, one that does not have any holes in it. Here is Les making our masterpiece. It is a little tricky, but we had such good luck with every single one we made!
It helps to have just a little wind. This is Denny getting ready to launch the first one. The kids loved the whole experience. It was a perfect night for it!
