We just want to congratulate Patti on her achievements1 After 32 years serving Utah's school children Dr. Patti Harrington, State Superintendent of the Utah Public Instruction,has retired!!
She has done so many, many things, taught, been a principal of Provo High, just to name a few of her many accomplishments. We are so thrilled for you! You are such an amazing person! We have watched you serve tirelessly for so many years! We congratulate you on all of your accomplishments! We can honestly say, it has been our privilege to call you our friend! We love you and all that you stand for. Thanks for making a difference!! Enjoy those retirement years!
Our only sad moment in all of this was Rosemarie and Patti decided to join our ranks of family visiting in Arizona the week before her retirement, when she fell and broke a bone in her arm. They were not in Arizona even 24 hours, before they were back on a plane to Utah and headed for surgery! We were so sorry! Thanks for making the effort to come. We hope your recovery time is quick and you will heal fast and strong! We love you both!

We were so glad to join you all and looked forward to it. We will be sure to come again with no work assignments attached. A flukey thing and she is making good progress and going into retirement OK. Thanks for your concerns and prayers. Look forward to seeing you in July. Love you all.
