THE GILA VALLEY ARIZONA TEMPLE

May 15th our youth took an amazing trip to the open house of the Gila Valley Temple. It is about 2 1/2 hours away from Gilbert. It was an incredible experience. The youth planned a devotional on the way up, twenty questons about temples, and other fun activites to make the 2 1/2 hour drive go fast. They are lined up in front of the bus before we left the church parking lot. We have such an amazing group of youth. I feel it such a priviledge to serve with them. We had lunch at a park. Then drove back to Gilbert. It was so neat to hear them bear their testimonies about all that they had just witnessed on the way back.

This is a great experience for them to witness this beautiful temple, especially since the Gilbert temple will be built in the near future right before their eyes. I loved this day!
